Founded in 2016, IRI Landscape specializes in designing and building outdoor spaces throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, with a focus on incorporating modern trends and meeting the unique needs and preferences of each client.
Djordje Milic was born and raised in little town in central Serbia, Gornji Milanovac, city where the modern Serbia was born. Namely, this town was build completely according to urban planning regulations from the scratch which was rarely common and still is. Growing up in historically rich and yet modern environment subconsciously made Djordje’s distinguished taste for design and innovation.
Djordje graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from Faculty of Forestry, University of Belgrade. While at college he was student assistant on the Landscape Architectural Design and Build Department. In 2008 he moved to California where he started his family life and landscape business career working for other landscape studios at first and then from 2016 pursuing its own landscape company ownership.
Aleksandra Milic holds a B.A. in Landscape Architecture from Faculty of Forestry, University of Belgrade. She was born and raised in Belgrade, capital and the largest city of Serbia. Growing up in the family of four generations of entrepreneurs her best childhood memories were connected with a father’s workshop where many custom-build furniture were built, and where her love to the plants and trees primarily was
born.
Dynamic and metropolitan life made her appreciation for the plants and their habitats even more. Aleksandra moved to California following her sweetheart and now husband and father to her three girls in 2008. She enjoys working collaboratively with Djordje in achieving family life goals and growing their business together
